School Meals

Children are able to bring a home packed lunch or have School meals provided by The Pantry. Your child will be eating fresh, sustainable, and high-quality meals each and every day. The Pantry are an independently-owned business, who proudly partner with over 90 schools as a full-service catering provider and are renowned across the industry for delivering the highest standards of school food, supported by the most innovative technology systems.

Once your child is enrolled at Angel Road Schools, The Pantry will send you the login link for your Pantry account via email, for you to access and verify your account for meal ordering (this also includes providing information should your child have any of the main 14 allergens). Please look out for this communication, as this is a very important step to ensure your child gets the correct meal. Once your account is set up you will be able to view our menus with your child and book them a delicious meal. If you don’t receive your login, the Customer Service Team are on hand to assist.

Simply email office@thepantrycatering.co.uk or call 020 8813 7040 Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm.

All children in Key Stage 1 (Reception, Year 1, and Year 2) are entitled to a free lunch under the Universal Infant Free School Meal Programme. All children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3,4,5 and 6) will be required to pay for their meal at £2.53 per lunch. Our school has a daily cut-off of 9am for ordering meals. Our chefs cook to order which minimises food waste. You can amend and cancel orders with an automatic refund at any time up to the daily cut-off – such as if your child is not in school due to illness or a school trip.

ALLERGIES & FOOD INTOLERANCE

If your child has any sort of food allergy, it is important that you let school and The Pantry know.  Please inform The Pantry by either calling us on 020 8813 7040 or emailing office@thepantrycatering.co.uk. Please note we will require medical documentation of the allergy or intolerance in order to provide a specialist menu for your child.

If you do not wish to accept the Pantry's offer of a specialist menu, you can complete the waiver form below.

Self-Managing Dietary Needs Waiver Form

LIFESTYLE AND RELIGIOUS DIETS

If your child has a particular diet for religious or lifestyle reasons, it would be useful if you could let school and The Pantry know.  The Pantry provide at least two vegetarian options every day, and we think that this will sufficient for most people with special diets, as you can manage this yourself by making the appropriate meal choice.

The meat The Pantry serve is NOT Halal or Kosher.  Our menu clearly shows if a meal if vegetarian, or what meat or fish is in it.  Families can pre-select their child’s lunch option in advance up to the end of the academic year, by logging into their Pantry account. This clearly shows if a meal is vegetarian, or contains meat or fish.

Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 children may be eligible for free school meals (FSM), which must be applied for using the link below. If your child is not eligible, you will need to pay £2.53 per lunch.

PLEASE NOTE – if you are entitled to ‘free school meals’ please continue to apply for these as this directly affects the amount of funding the school receives to support the children with their learning. Please follow this link to see if you are eligible.
